Mankind’s right to freedom of speech is a treasured right that many take for granted. Without freedom of speech and freedom of expression, art cannot exist. Though architecture serves a functional purpose as well as a creative one, without freedom of speech, our buildings and monuments would be reduced to grey boxes and pictures of political leaders.

Across the planet, freedom of speech is celebrated and commemorated with monuments and exhibitions.
